Corrine D'Imperio Micale, 85, passed away at the Cottages at Garden Grove on April 23, 2021. Corrine was born August 6, 1935 in Syracuse, NY to the late Anthony and Virginia (Sacco) D'Imperio. Corrine enjoyed being with her family and feeding them. Her home was a place where everyone always felt welcome. She was famous for her "Sunday Morning Meatballs" followed later by a huge macaroni dinner where anyone and everyone was welcome. Corrine loved to read and also tried her hand at writing novels. She had a green thumb and enjoyed working in her yard and tending to her flowers. She was very artistic; she loved to paint and most recently you could find her beading and making jewelry. There wasn't anything she couldn't do. She was a plumber, carpenter, mason, an electrician and she reupholstered furniture, not by trade, just in her own home. If something needed to be done she did it. She shared her joy of cooking with her grandchildren and you can find her on YouTube under "Micale Thanksgiving Stuffing". Corrine will be most remembered for her ability to love unconditionally, like no other.
She was predeceased by her husband, Patrick and sister, Jeanette DeBellis.
She is survived by sons, Patrick (Derry), Anthony, Joseph and Michael; 9 grandchildren, Anthony Micale, Kerilyn (Kyle) Veal, Nicholas (Danielle) Micale, Sara (Paul) Linnertz, Nicolette Burchell, Joseph Micale, Rebekah Richard, Brandon Micale and Michael Burgen; 8 great-grandchildren, sisters, Madeline Wilbur and Philomena Goodeve and several nieces and nephews.
