Consuelo "Connie" Rio passed away on February 28, 2024 at VanDuyn Center Syracuse NY. Connie was born in Syracuse and lived in Solvay many years.
She was predeceased by her parents, Antonia and Manuel Rio, and her twin sister, Maria Lacek.
She is survived by her life partner, also considered a family member, Bonnie Waltman of Syracuse, NY; her brother, Manuel Rio Jr. (Pamela) of Syracuse NY, three nieces and two nephews.
Connie retired from Citi Corp. She had a soft heart for animals and was a rescue Mom for many fur babies. She was a big part of her nieces lives and had made fond memories. Connie was very close to her twin sister Maria whom she spent holidays with and will now be at peace with Maria.
A private graveside service will be held in Oakwood Cemetery.
