Consuelo Cresho

Consuelo "Chelo" Cresho, 78, of Clay, passed away November 24, 2023, at her home. Consuelo was born in Seville, Spain on April 26, 1945. She retired from Onondaga County Government. Chelo was one of the first women in Spain to compete in Skydiving Competitions. She also would dance Flamenco and was known to ride a motorcycle occasionally. Determined, strong, independent, she did it her way.
She was predeceased by her husband Anthony in 2017.

She is survived by her son, Anthony (Amy) Cresho, her grandson, Chase, nieces and nephews; Piluca Rubio, Maria Jesus Rubio, Daniel Rubio, Javier Rubio, Ramon Rubio, cousin, Francisco Rubio, close friends, Pilar Steele, Richard Steele, along with their children, Christina, Alicia & Michelle Steele.

A memorial service will be held on Friday December 1st at 3:00pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St Syracuse, N. Syracuse.
