Connie J. Thomas, 67, of Syracuse, passed away October 21, 2021. Connie was born in Auburn, New York on March 3, 1954 to Lawrence and Edith Bright. Connie retired from Maxim Healthcare Services. In her free time, she enjoyed she enjoyed bird watching, music, scratch offs, and playing games.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Edith V. and father, Lawrence Bright.

She is survived by her son, Jahmal Thomas; two daughters, Monique Thomas Reyes, Elizabeth Thomas Gordon; seven sisters, Marcia Hunt, Francis Titus, Patricia Bright, Loretta Jackson, Vicki Crawford, Diane Bright, Selina Taylor; brother, Frank Bright; six granddaughters, Che'quira Thomas, Tianna Nellons, Taliyah Afford, Ashley Gray, Alexis Gray, Jaeda Thomas; four grandsons, Jahmal Thomas, Tywann Nellons, Josiah Thomas, Jamir Thomas; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Family and friends may gather on October 30, 2021 from 2-3PM at New Comer Cremations and Funerals where a service will follow.
