Colleen Kingsley of Syracuse NY passed away Tuesday June 6th, 2023, surrounded by family. She was 62 years old. She was born May 27th, 1961, and was a lifelong Syracuse resident.
Her greatest joy was being a mother to her only son, and a grandmother to her three grandchildren. In life Colleen showed nothing but love and kindness to all that she met. This was evident in her choice to pursue her LPN nursing degree, trying to improve the lives of those she encountered. She loved anything to do with Elvis and would ask everyone if they had ever listened to the "King". Colleen was a strong woman of faith, always sharing her hope in Christ with those around her. But out of everything, she loved being a grandmother the most.
Colleen is predeceased by her mother Joan Hopkins; and survived by her father Lawrence Hopkins, brother Steven Hopkins, Son Donald Hopkins, Daughter in-law Lisa Hopkins, her three grandchildren; Parker, Lydia, and Amelia Hopkins, along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of services, the family will be doing a celebration of life on Tuesday, June 20th, 2023, from 3pm-6pm at 7171 Manlius Center Rd East Syracuse NY, 13057.
