Colleen Carter

1967 — 2024

Colleen M. Carter, 56, of Baldwinsville, passed away on September 10, 2024, after a courageous but short battle against cancer.

She was born on September 15, 1967 and was predeceased by her loving husband, W. Scott Carter.

Colleen is survived by her children Bethany (Kevin) Price, Emily (Ashley) Moltrup, and Scott (Trisha) Carter.

Colleen was an amazing Grandma and cherished her grandchildren Arianna, Liam, Marlee, Riley, and Piper. In addition to her children and grandchildren, Colleen is survived by her sisters, Cindy (Mark) Nappa, and Maureen (Bob) Culican, and several nieces and nephews. She is also predeceased by her brother, James M. Montague, and parents James C. Montague and Joan Osbelt.

Traveling with friends and family made her happy and she did it as often as possible. Colleen spent many years working with our community, in several capacities, to help children and families in crisis. Her kindness and compassion radiated to everyone around her. She was the heart of her family and her love is irreplaceable. Our mother taught us everything, except how to live without her.

Mom, you are the greatest thing we’ve lost.

We love you so much.
