Cody James Wakeman, 32 of West Monroe, passed away unexpectedly at his home. Born on April 30, 1985 in Syracuse to Timothy and Debra Wakeman. Cody graduated from PV Moore High School in 2003 and was employed by Bette & Cring Construction Group for the last 12 years. He loved golfing, hunting, fishing, the outdoors, SU basketball, Yankees and his Carolina Panthers.
Survived by his parents and his beloved daughter, Bettie; two brothers, Zachary and Jesse and their children, Madalyn, Zoey and Uriah; grandparents, Harley Wakeman of Florida, Marjorie Yackel of Syracuse and many extended family, friends and Buzzy.
Calling hours will take place at New Comer Funeral Home on Friday 4-7PM. Memorial Mass will be on Saturday 9AM at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, Route 49, Constantia, NY 13044.
