Clyde M. Shute, 75, of Clay, passed away peacefully on Friday surrounded by his loving wife. He was born on April 1, 1939 in Syracuse, son of the late Willard and Helen Shute. He was employed at ACE Haulers in Syracuse for 30 years and he was a member of the Teamsters Union Local 317. He was predeceased by his daughter, Cynthia Helen Shute, grandson, Clyde Shute, 2 brothers: Gerald and Arthur, 2 sisters: Dawn Fink and Joan Neu.
Surviving are his beloved wife, Nancy of 54 years, 5 daughters: Diana (Andy) Marks, Roxanne (Mark) Neidlinger, Sharon (Jeff) Dean, Mary (Shawn, Sr.) Darrow and Kim Shute-Walsh, 11 grandchildren: Jeff, Ryan, Holly, Anna, Tyler, Shawn, Jr., Jesse, Morgan, Tommy, Kyle, Kilee, 3 great grandchildren: McKenzie, Ben & Nathan.
Services will be private. There are no calling hours.
