Clemons White, 59, of Syracuse, crossed over to be with his Lord and savior, on Thursday with family at his side. He worked for the Hotel Syracuse as a maintenance engineer for 18 years and most recently for the Crown Plaza for 7 years. Clemons loved God and attended Believers' Chapel with his wife. He is predeceased by his parents, Jaybee Moore and Mulvinina White; and a brother, Timothy White.
Clemons is survived by his wife, Ellen White; three children, Sabree, Zakiyyah and Shafiqah; seven siblings, Ernest, Phyllis, Robert, Larry, Jerry, Jaybee Jr. and Lawrence; mother in law, Eva Henderson; father in law, Andy Powell; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Monday, November 12, 2012, from 4-6PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Services will follow at 6PM.
