Clementine F. Lamica

Clemie Lamica, 84, of Clay, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, on Tuesday. Born in Watertown, NY, she was the daughter of the late, Fiorenzo F. and Filomena Fusco. She was a graduate of Immaculate Heart Academy in 1947.
She retired from AT&T in 1990 with 39 years of service. She was a longtime member of the North Syracuse Art Guild and shared her artistic talents through Clemie Lamica Creations. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church. She was also predeceased by her sister, Lena Coppola.
Clemie is survived by her husband of 62 years, James A. Lamica Jr.; a son, James A. (Donna) Lamica III, their two children, Dawn Johnson and David Sardella and granddaughter, Kayla Sardella; a daughter, Patricia A. (Charles) Stringer and their two children, Rachael and Noah; a brother, F. Joseph Fusco; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Saturday from 12-2PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Services will follow at 2PM. Spring burial will be at a later date in the Glenwood Cemetery, Watertown, NY.
