Clement E. Planeta, 96, of North Syracuse, passed away November 3, 2021.
Clement was born in Southbridge, Massachusetts on December 13, 1924 to the late Stanley and Katie Planeta.
A U.S. Army, WWII Veteran, he arrived at Utah Beach in France on June 6, 1944 and then continued to serve until 1945.
Clement retired from Carrier Corp. after many years as an engineer. In his free time he was an avid golfer but most of all loved to spend time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his loving Wife, Mary; Son, Stephen Planeta.
He is survived by his Daughters, Judy (Daniel) Joss, June Caro; Sons, Jay (Jayne) Planeta and Mark Planeta; Sister, Isabell Gaffney; As well as 11 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren and several Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, from 11 AM to 1 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse, with a service to follow at 1 PM. Burial to take place in North Syracuse Cemetery.
