Clement "Clem" H. Metko, 82, of North Syracuse, passed peacefully while surrounded by family at St. Joseph's Hospital.
His wish was for his loved ones and friends to say goodbye, each in their own personal way, without formality. His body has been donated to the Anatomical Gift Program at SUNY Upstate Medical Center. A service will be held April 2, 2016 at 3pm at Hendricks Chapel to celebrate those who have donated.
Clem is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Raelene Metko; son, Tim Metko; two daughters, Beth and Sandy Metko; 2 grandchildren, Raelene and David Metko.
The family suggests that contributions be made to NAVAC, St. Joseph's Hospital or the American Diabetes Assoc. in Clem's memory.
