Claude B. Rock, 65 of Osceola died Friday. He retired from Instant Whip Foods, Inc. in 1989 following 22 years of service as Plant Foreman. He was a US Navy veteran.
Surviving are a son; Mark Rock of Palm Bay, FL, two daughters; Tammy Cummings of Brewerton and Dawn Rock of Mexico, NY; his 27 year companion Cynthia Scott; stepchildren, Charles, Christopher and Carrie Scott, a brother; Herbert Rock, Jr., three sisters; Margaret Kelly, Muriel Hewitt and Dorothy Winslow, 13 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be 4:00 – 7:00 pm Tuesday with services to follow immediately at 7:00 pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Burial will be in Lake Placid, NY.
