Clark B. Denton, 76, of North Syracuse, passed away January 4, 2024.

Clark was born in Oswego, New York on March 7, 1947 to the late Benjamin and Anna Denton. He graduated from Oswego High School in 1965. While attending SUNY Oswego he found his passion working in the laboratory and made it his life career. His coworkers were like his second family. He loved reading, photography, and traveling (Cape Cod was his second home). Napping and astrology were one of his favorite past times. He was a fond lover of nature and his animal children. Most importantly he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a sister, Barbara Denton-Knight.

He is survived by wife of 52 years, Sharon (Tompkins) Denton; son, Scott Clark (Sara) Denton; daughter, Emily (Michael Douglas) Denton; grandchildren, Mariah Denton, Austin Campbell, Benjamin Campbell, Mason Campbell and McKenna Douglas; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling hours are Friday, January 12, 2024 from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals - North Syracuse, 705 N. Main St, North Syracuse, with a service to follow. Burial in Riverside Cemetery in the spring.
