Clarence VanOrden

Clarence VanOrden, 96, of North Syracuse, passed away on Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital surrounded by family. He was born in Holley, NY son of Burt and Lillian VanOrden. He served in the US Army during WW II and last worked at S.J. Groves and Sons Construction retiring in 1982. He was predeceased by his wife Thelma in 2009.
Surviving are his daughter, Ann Carol (Michael) Streeter, 3 grandchildren, Dennis Munger, Cheryl (Andrew) Baldwin, Christina (Joseph) Gambel, 7 great grandchildren, Amy (Chris) Leotta, Andrew Baldwin, II, Adam Baldwin, Aidan Baldwin, E4Senior Airman Michael Gardner, Joe Deckman, Greg Munger, great great grandson, Noah Leotta, along with several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Saturday 10 am at the Onondaga County Veterans Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
