Clara E. Mavrides

Clara "Deen" E. Mavrides, 88, of East Syracuse, passed away August 30, 2021 with her family by her side.
Deen was born in Mexico, New York on October 18, 1932 to the late John and Clara Cross. She was a stay at home mom until the kids got older, and then found her niche working in the bakery at Leo's Big M in East Syracuse until it closed. She enjoyed going to the casinos, scratch off games, playing Canasta, and Yahtzee. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family.
Deen was preceded in death by her husband, Constantine "Gus" Mavrides; and was the last surviving of her 5 siblings.
She is survived by her three daughters, Michele (Chris) Lella, Terri (Joe) Servello, and Connie (Peter Miller) Mavrides; two grandsons, Richard J. (Camila) Servello, and Tony (Bobbi Jo) Servello; great grandchildren, River and Lydia Servello; and step-great grandchildren, Ciann and Aidan Jackson.
Services will be private.
