Clara Nina (Salerno) Bryant, 60, died Christmas Day at Francis House. Clara was a life resident of Syracuse and a graduate of Central High School. She was employed as a secretary and more recently worked in retail sales and as a nursing aide. She was predeceased by her husband, Vincent (1995); her brothers, Ronald J. (2001) and Victor T. (2004); and her nephew/godson, Jason M. Salerno (2005). Clara is survived by two sisters, Eleanor Pesce of N. Miami Beach, FL, and Sister Maria Salerno OSF of Washington, DC; one brother, John M. Salerno of North Syracuse; along with several nieces and nephews. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Rose of Lima Church. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at New Comer Family Funeral Home, 705 North Main Street, North Syracuse.
