Claire Levesque, 90, of Sherrill, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2022 at Oneida Health Center after a long illness. Claire was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey on August 7, 1931 to Joseph and Anne Lakasky. She owned the Log Cabin Tavern at Lake Hopatcong, NJ, with her late husband, Wendell. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her family. Claire was well liked and loved by all of her family and friends alike.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Anne Lakasky, late husband, Wendell, and sister Dolores Jann.
She is survived by her two Sons, Wayne (Carol) Sasso and Keith Sasso; five grandchildren, Tanya, Kristina, Thomas, Kristin, and Brian; and seven great grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be held at Mount Olivet Cemetery, New Jersey at a later date.
