Christopher J. Murray

October 26, 1964 — June 2, 2022

Christopher J. Murray, 57, of Syracuse, sadly passed away on Thursday after a courageous battle with cancer.

Christopher's biggest joy was enjoying Halloween activities with his daughters and especially later on sharing the same traditions with his grandchildren.

He had many hobbies including darts, bowling, fishing, playing Dungeons and Dragons, trips to the casino and camping trips with his girlfriend, Jaime and daughters and grandchildren.

He was an avid fan of the Las Vegas Raiders, Syracuse basketball and the New York Yankees.

Christopher enjoyed driving bus for First Student for almost two decades. He adored the children on his bus and treated them like his own.

He is survived by his two loving daughters, Jordyn Murray and Karyn Murray both of Syracuse; two beloved grandchildren, Mason and Ava; devoted companion of 8 years, Jaime Stewart; brothers, Edward William Hammond, Jr., Stephen Reitenger, Jonathan Bueltman; sister, Daniele Wilson; and nieces and nephews.

Christopher was predeceased by his grandmother, Mary Alice Murray; parents, Carl and Alberta Carpenter of Phoenix, NY and brother, Mark Murray.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, June 11th 11am-2pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals.
