Christopher Ray Leonard, 35, of Syracuse, passed away August 5, 2018.
Christopher was born in Syracuse, New York on August 17, 1982 to Gary Leonard and Marcia Fowler.
He enjoyed Iroquois Social Dancing, Pow-Wows, camping, boxing, and was an avid Phish and Buffalo Bills fan.
Christopher was a chef who had a passion for cooking and creative writing. He was a family man who loved family get-togethers, and was the life of the party, entertaining everyone with his humor and intelligence.
Christopher was preceded in death by his father, Gary Ray Leonard; and his beloved dog, Damien.
He is survived by his mother Marcia (Rob) Fowler; a sister, Christina Vazquez Berrios; two brothers, Sean Jose (Alicia) Vazquez, and Juan Jose (Betty) Vazquez; several nieces and nephews, including Manuel, Jaquelin, and Lissette Berrios; several cousins and friends; special life-long friends, Cecelia Leigh Diabo, Russell Mangicaro, and his family, the Mangicaros.
Family and friends may call on Tuesday, August 14th from 2-3pm. Funeral Service will follow at 3pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, North Syracuse.
