Christian P. Kaefer

Christian P. Kaefer, 67, of Liverpool, New York passed away recently at his home. He was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania and grew up in Manchester, Connecticut. Chris was a graduate of the University of Connecticut. He served as a Captain in the U.S. Army and was awarded a Bronze Star during the Vietnam War. Chris was also an Eagle Scout. He founded his own business, was an avid SU fan, and loved dogs.
Chris is survived by a sister, Marilyn D'Aquanni of Conway, New Hampshire and two children, Christie Kaefer of Bethesda, Maryland and Scott Kaefer of Montpelier, Virginia. He was a proud grandfather with two grandsons, Easton Kaefer and Viktor Petrov, and uncle to two nephews, Daniel and Andrew D'Aquanni.
A private memorial service will be held in Paterson, New Jersey at a later date. The family extends their gratitude to local friends, business colleagues, and staff at the Syracuse VA Hospital for their extraordinary support.
