Charlotte "Big C" McMullen departed this life on October 31, 2020 after a short illness with family by her side throughout the day.
She is the second oldest daughter of Otis & Barbara A. (McMullen) Drummer. Charlotte was born on June 9, 1971 in Syracuse, New York. She was educated in Syracuse, NY public schools and worked for First Student. Charlotte enjoyed taking cruises, singing, Reggae and Food Network
Charlotte is predeceased by her father Troy Simmons; brother Johnathan McMullen and niece Veronica Mills.
Charlotte leaves to mourn and cherish her loving memories, her loving parents Superintendent Barbara (Otis) Drummer, One beautiful daughter, Maleeka A. (Williams) Nelson, Three handsome sons, David Walker, Tasheem Walker and Maleek Williams. Sisters, Veardean (Carnell) Jackson Brothers, James (Lori) McDowell Jr. and a very large host of grandchildren; (David) Angel Walker, Zaniyah Walker, Savyon Hymes – Johnson, Sacarri Hymes – Johnson, Sanhayla Hymes – Johnson, Samarien Hymes – Johnson, Carmell Adair, Yamari Williams, (Tasheem) Kha'dir Stockley, Aidan Young, Raniyah Hernandez (Maleek) Maliyah Williams, Zaharia Williams (Maleeka) Nya'Brielle Nelson & Israel J. Nelson.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 9th 11am-12pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals with a service to follow at 12pm. Burial Tuesday, November 10th at 10am in Loomis Hill Cemetery.
Gathering size within our chapels will be based on the most current NYS occupancy requirements. Masks are required and social distancing is to be observed inside and outside of our chapels.
