Charlotte G. Lilly age 83, of Liverpool, New York went to be with the Lord on Tuesday at the Syracuse Home in Baldwinsville.
Charlotte was born January 11, 1932 in Wells, New York, the daughter of the late Rev. Ervin and Myrtle "Betty" Phillips. Char was a former member of the Buckley Road Baptist Church and was a devout Christian. She was a loving mother and grandmother who participated in the foster parent program. She was an avid knitter, and enjoyed camping with her husband, family & friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold W., her 2 sons, Gary and Geri "Scott" Lilly.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Gwen (Dale) Ouderkirk, Gail (James) Van Slyke, son, Glen (Joanne) Lilly, 10 grandchildren; Jonnell, Mike, Jessica, Joe, Paul, Erik, Erin, Jeff, Jason, & Ashley, several great grandchildren, her brother, Harry (Peggy) Phillips, 2 daughter-in-laws; Kathleen & Lori Lilly.
Char's family would like to thank the Syracuse Home Assoc. & James Square for the wonderful care they provided.
Calling hours will be held on Friday from 3-5pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday 10am at North Syracuse Cemetery.
