Charles Wines

Charles Wines, 92, passed away April 19, 2022. Affectionately known as "Pops" by his friends and caregivers, he was noted for his distinguished smile and warm loving heart. He enjoyed attending Delta Lake Bible camp twice a year and attending church on Sunday morning at Bethany Baptist Church. Charlie loved going to the airport to watch airplanes, looking at his magazines, watching movies, bowling, shopping and cranking his music volume to its loudest level. Whenever he was out in the community and he would meet someone that he knew, he would smile, and be excited to give them a hug. When he was home he enjoyed relaxing looking out the window and playing with his cars, and quiet time in his room. Charlie will be missed.

He is survived by many friends at OPWDD and his Caregivers at Southfield IRA, Eastgate IRA and Gateway Day Habilitation.
