Charles E. West

Charles E. "Chip" West, 59, of West Monroe, passed away on Thursday March 21, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Chip was born in Syracuse, NY on September 6, 1964 son of the late William and Ernestine "Tina" West. He worked as a master machinist, owning CW Machine and retiring from Knise & Krick, Inc. in Syracuse.

Chip was a generous man who would do anything to help anyone in need. He loved being busy, especially outdoors. Chip spent most of his retirement in the woods, hunting, clearing downed trees, and watching "his deer". He was a loyal Bills fan, space and techy fanatic, skilled tinkerer, and able to beat anyone in all types of games especially Horseshoes. Chip had a love for life and an iron will that stayed with him to the very end.

He is survived by his loving wife Denise West, daughter, Jackie (Tony) Postol, son, Jason (Chante) West, 2 grandchildren, Skylar & Rylie, furkid Rusty, sister, Sandy (Jim) West-Harrington, 2 brothers, David West, Bill (Tammy) West, along with nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on April 6th from 1:00 - 4:00PM at Kasoag Lake Banquet Hall located at 603 County Route 30 Kasoag, NY 13302
