Charles S. "Charlie" Miller, 79, of Syracuse passed away on Sunday with family by his side. He was born on January 27, 1934 in Brooklyn, son of Charles and Stella Miller. He was a dedicated construction worker affiliated with Local 333 and he was also a member of the Venditti Post. Charlie touched many lives. He was a people person whose nickname was "Party Charlie." He was predeceased by his sister, Lee.
Surviving are his 4 children, James (Jill), Jeanne Miller, Anita (Thomas) McKelvey, Steven (Kim), 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, along with 2 former wives, Mary (Nicosia), Rose (Zimmerman) and sister, Eleanor.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4-7pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse.
