Charles S. Burdick, 72, of Clay, passed away on Tuesday surrounded by family.
He served in the US Air Force for 4 years and then later served in the Air National Guard with the 174th Fighter Wing working in Security Forces. Charles fought in the Vietnam War and Operation Desert Storm. Charles was very proud of his military service.
Charles was predeceased by his parents Meriel (Weeks) and Stephen Burdick.
Charles is survived by his wife of 25 years, Patricia (Senska); a son, Bryan Simer; sisters, Jane (Jack) Kemp and Ann (James) Deck and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Monday 10AM-12PM at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse with a service to follow at 12PM.
Burial will follow in the Onondaga County Veterans Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the CNY SPCA, 5878 E. Molloy Rd., Syracuse, NY 13211.
