Charles H. “Charlie” Latz, 89, of Syracuse, NY passed away on October 5, 2024. He was born in Rochester, NY to the late Eveline and George Latz. The family moved to Syracuse when Charlie was 7 years old. He worked as a Carpenter all of his life; some of his bigger projects included working on the Carrier Dome and Nine Mile powerplant. 

Charlie was predeceased by his siblings, Alberta, Edith, Shirley, Billy, George, Iva Mae, Stanley, Alvina, David, Larry and Johnny.

He is survived by his children, Charles Latz, Jr. and Patricia Lewis; step-children, John (Pam) Swackhammer, Mary (Mike) Boyke and Tina (Gus) Mead; grandchildren, Bradly (Erica), Patrick, Scott, Edward (Dominique) and Daniel; great-grandchildren, Landon, Ava-Jade, Shayla and Noah; siblings, Joan and Naomi “Faith” and many other extended family members. 

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, October 13, 2024 from 3pm-5pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals with a service to follow at 5pm.
