Charles "Chuck" Guiles

Charles "Chuck" Guiles, was born July, 12 1946, and went home to be with the Lord on March 7, 2025. Charles is survived by his wife Marion; sister, Donna Ess; children, Shelby Stonecipher (Jeffrey) & Robbin Guiles; grandchildren, Ashlee Cooke (Joseph), Noah Stonecipher and Leah Stonecipher; great grandchildren, Lily & Maggie Sturm. Charles was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend.

Charles lived a life of dedication, love, and joy, always working hard to provide for his family. His greatest pride and joy were his loved ones, especially his beloved wife of 53 years, Marion, who made him better every day. Their marriage was a testament to true love and partnership, and together they shared countless memories, laughs, and experiences.

A passionate lover of the outdoors, Charles cherished his time fishing, camping, and swimming at the YMCA. Whether casting a line, setting up camp, or enjoying a swim he found peace and happiness in nature. He had an infectious spirit, always ready to share a joke or a story that would make those around him smile and laugh. His sense of humor was a gift that brightened every room he entered.

Above all, Charles was a man of faith, sharing the love of Jesus with everyone he encountered. His belief in Christ was central to his life, and he was always eager to offer words of encouragement, comfort, and support. He lived his faith through his actions, showing kindness, generosity, and compassion to all. When he met someone new, his first question was always to ask if they had a home church.

Charles will be deeply missed by his wife, Marion, their children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of love, faith, and joy will continue to inspire and comfort us in the days to come.

Calling hours are Friday from 10:30AM-12PM with a service to follow at Trinity Assembly of God, 4398 Rte 31, Clay, NY 13041. A private burial for the family to follow.
