Charles (Pete) E. Fisher, 73, of Bridgeport, passed away Friday after a long illness. Born in Ogdensburg, NY, he was an Army Ranger who served in the Airborne division, and a veteran of the Korean War. Pete was a graduate of Canton ATC and a retired State employee. He took great joy and satisfaction as a member of the Susquchanna Volunteers of CNY Chapter National Railway Historical Society and the Cicero Lion's Club, and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. His generosity and energetic spirit made him a man who was greatly loved and he will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his children; Charles, David (Karen), Doreen (Tye) Campbell, Carleen (Walter) McKenzie and Denise Fisher, his eight grandchildren; Ian, Eryn, Shaun, Joshua, Christopher, Mallory, Alex and Julia.

Services will be held on Tuesday at 10 AM at St. Rose of Lima Church, North Syracuse. Burial will follow in North Syracuse Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with his family on Monday from 4-7 PM at the funeral home, 705 North Main Street.
