Charles "Charlie" Fay Sr., 57, of Pennellville passed away Saturday. Born in Syracuse, he was a musician who played drums for 35 years both locally as well as on the national stage. Last local band he played in was T.J. Sacco & The Electric Rodeo. He was formerly employed with Crouse-Hinds, Pyramid Roofing and Creorie Construction.
He is survived by his wife; Jan Fay, sons; Charles Jr. (Marie), Jeremy, Matthew, Derrick, his daughter; Tanya (Nick) Pilotti, brother; James (Eliza) Fay III, Patrick (Sharon) Fay, sisters; Ellen (Gary) Holst, Colleen (Gordon) Kotars and 4 grandchildren.
Services will be held on Wednesday at 10 AM at New Comer Funeral Home, North Syracuse. Burial will follow in North Syracuse Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4-7 PM at the funeral home, 705 N. Main Street, North Syracuse.
Contributions may be made to the family.
