Charles E. Gaffey of Baldwinsville passed away at the Van Duyn Center on Saturday. Charles was a World War II veteran who served in the Army Air Corps. He retired from roofing 25 years ago. Charles enjoyed working in his yard.
He was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Gaffey and his son Douglas "Ricky" Gaffey.
Survivors are his daughter Susan Merritt; Sons Clifton (Kimberly) Gaffey and Charles (Arleen) Gaffey; sister Lois Zacholl; 6 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren.
Calling Hours will be on Thursday June 11th 4-6pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St. North Syracuse, NY 13212. Burial will be private.
