Charles C. Williams, 79, of Cicero, passed away Wednesday surrounded by his family.
He was born in New Hope, NY and lived in the Syracuse area most of his life.
He worked for 30 years at Nettleton Shoe Co. and later retired from Anheuser-Busch Inc.
He loved sports and especially Syracuse University, the Los Angeles Dodgers and Kansas City Chiefs. Above all, he will be remembered for his love for his family, especially his granddaughters.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Sherry and Charles' siblings, Herman, Horace, Raymond, Arthur, Clark, Ruby, Virginia and Norma.
He is survived by his daughter, Michele (Jim) O'Hara; granddaughters, Courtney, Sydney and Mackenzie; four sisters, Roberta, Helen, Shirley and Jean; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling Hours will be 11AM-1PM with a funeral service to follow at 1PM on Monday August 19th at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse. Burial N. Syracuse Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Association of CNY or the CNY SPCA.
