Charles A. 'Chuck' Ruple, 68, of Mattydale, passed away on Monday at the VA Hospital. He was born June 4, 1944 in Newark, NY son of Edward and Laura Ruple.
He served in the US Air Force from 1965-71. At one time he worked at Smith & Caffrey Steel and last worked at Anheuser-Busch for 15 years. He was a member of the American Legion in Mattydale and Central Square.
Surviving are Delores Nappa, daughter, Christine Ruple-Siravolo and husband Pete, 4 grandchildren;Tania Fronk, Erika Ruple, Alissa Germond, and Scott Germond, Jr., 5 great grandchildren, 2 brothers; Ricky (Sue) and Daniel (Sue), many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Cheryl Savage.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 11-2pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse.
