Charlene Lida (Schmid) Shehadi, 84, of (Baldwinsville NY), passed away on March 9, 2020 in Pensacola, Florida.
Charlene Shehadi was born in Syracuse NY to Earl C Schmid and Marion Uttting Schmid on September 10th 1935. She attended North High School. Charlene married Frederick M Shehadi II on April 21st 1956 at Atonement Lutheran, Syracuse NY. She worked as a Medical Secretary for Chestnut Ridge for 35 years. Charlene was involved as an Advisor for Triangle Girls, Baldwinsville Chapter, OES Matron Baldwinsville and Solvay Chapters, and Amaranth & White Shrine. Charlene Shehadi is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frederick M Shehadi II April 11th 1995, her mother Marion Bertha Schmid August 1992 and father Earl Schmid 1936.
Charlene is survived by her sons, Frederick (Susan) Shehadi III of Gulf Breeze, Fl, and David E. Shehadi of Pensacola, Fl; daughters, Karen (Robert) Shehadi-Sauer of Pensacola, Fl., Abigail Shehadi-Olah (Thomas) of Pensacola, Fl; Kristin (Matthew) Shehadi-Gilbert of Baldwinsville, NY; grandchildren, Sarah Shehadi and Frederick Shehadi IV of Gulf Breeze, Fl, Robert E II & Carol JD Sauer of Glen Burnie, MD, Michael & Kristen Sauer of Gulf Breeze, Fl., Nicholas D Sauer Pensacola FL, Heather and Tony Prince, Amber Shehadi-Edmands and Daniel Edmands (all of Maryland) Roscoe & Lucy Edmands of MD, Kyle and Joycie Shehadi and Shelby Shehadi and David M. Claver all of Pensacola FL, David M Claver, Amanda Claver and Kimberly M Lizardi-Riley of Pensacola, Fl, Charlie Wolff, Kolin Wolff, Dakota Gilbert Baldwinsville NY; great- grandchildren, Kaleb H Sauer & Aiden A Sauer, of Gulf Breeze FL, Lincoln, Theodore, and Kennedy of Pensacola Fl., Dexter, Gavyn, Joseph & Lai`lany, of Pensacola FL, Noah A Riley of Pensacola Fl; cousins, Joellen & Ray Ramsden NY, Kip Shehadi-Capps NY, and Judith Farrell of NY.
Calling hours will take place Sunday, from 2-4pm, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main, North Syracuse, NY. A funeral service will take place Monday 10am at the funeral home.
Burial to take place at Woodlawn Cemetery.
