Charlene S. Paro, 63, of Oneida, passed away on April 22, 2023. Charlene was born in Oswego, New York on October 26, 1959 to Harold and Shirley VanEpps.
Charlene was a homemaker. In her free time she loved gardening, and taking care of her plants. She also enjoyed vacationing in Florida with her partner, and meeting up with her daughter and grandchildren there. She also loved going to the Cocoa Beach and Siesta Key, Disney World, camping in the Adirondacks and traveling. She also enjoyed watching football and cheered on her favorite teams. She was a kind, outgoing person who would help anyone in need.
She was preceded in death by her Father, Harold W. VanEpps; Mother, Shirley Jean VanEpps Houghmaster; and Siblings, Dale VanEpps, Walt VanEpps, and Dean VanEpps.
Charlene is survived by her loving partner of 34 years, Charles Fougnier of Oneida, NY; Daughters, Dashia (Fabricio) Antunes of Georgia, Kimberly Paro of Syracuse, Sarah (Lindsey) Seales of Syracuse, NY; Grandchildren or Angels as she called them, Tabatha, Jayden, Emma, Jazmyne, Isabella, Juliana and Jordan; Great-grandson, Aiden; Siblings; Sandy (Lee) Crisler of Cato, NY, Darlene Crysler (Dick) Darling of Syracuse, NY, Bobby (Kris) VanEpps of N. Syracuse; many Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
Family and friends may call on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals – N. Syracuse, 705 N. Main St. Funeral Mass will be at Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, 927 Park Ave., Syracuse at 9:30am, Thursday, May 4, 2023 with a burial at St. Agnes Cemetery.
