Cecilia Michelle Marie (Ortiz) of Auburn, NY, passed away peacefully on Friday , February 19th, 2021, with her family by her side.
On May 23rd, 1955, Michelle was born in Albuquerque, NM, to the late Ignacio and Sarah Ortiz.
She is survived by her children and grandchildren, who made up the entirety of her world. Alisa (Sean) Romero-Dunn, Leighann (Bryan) Turner, and her loving son Phillip. Besides her children, Michelle is survived by her husband of six (6) years Joseph Lovetro. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
Anyone that knew Michelle knows there was never a dull moment. She was headstrong, resilient, and always up for a challenge. Michelle owned and operated restaurants/bars and event venues throughout the US. Later in her career, Michelle worked as a Personal Chef and Estate Manager. If you were lucky enough to taste Michelle's cooking, then you know she put all of her heart into tickling your taste buds and putting a smile on your face. She had a big heart, and she would do anything for you. If you asked Michelle what her most significant accomplishment was, she would tell you her three (3) children and six (6) grandchildren.
For her, there was no greater achievement than being their mother and grandmother, who affectionately call her Grandma Jhita. Even in her absence, Michelle's love will live on through them always.
