Cecelia Rose (Podgorski) Taggart

Cecelia Rose (Podgorski) Taggart, 77, of Syracuse, passed away on Tuesday, August 15th with her son by her side. Cecelia was born in Syracuse to the late Laura and Michael Podgorski. She attended Sacred Heart School in the Syracuse Diocese and resided all of her life on the West end. She worked at 100 Madison Corporation, being part of the local union.
Cecelia played guitar and had a wonderful singing voice. She also loved to cook and spend time with her family.

She was predeceased by her sisters, Virginia A. Podgorski and Christina T. Donaldson and former husband, Charles W. Taggart.

Cecelia is survived by her son, Daniel W. Taggart; grandchildren, Alysha L. Taggart, Leanne Shaler and Christina Stoltz; great-grandchild, Max Shaler; sisters-in-law, Donna Taggart and Debbie Muncy and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Cecelia's life will be held at a later date.
