Cecelia M. LaValle, 57, of Baldwinsville, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday. Born in Syracuse, she was retired from Onondaga County. Cecelia was an avid martial arts enthusiast and instructor, having achieved a 2nd degree black belt in karate. She is predeceased by her mother, Mary Jane LaValle.
Cecelia is survived by her Daughter Melissa (Robert) Eichenlaub; grandson, Joseph Marion, whom she adored; father, Vincent "Jim" LaValle; brother, Vincent (Colleen) Lavalle; many nieces and nephews.
Services will be Saturday 1 p.m. at Believers' Chapel, on the corner of Thompson and Northern Blvd. There will be no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, 2501 Oak Lawn Ave Suite 435., Dallas, TX 75219
