In Loving Memory of Cathleen Watson 1943-2020
Catherine Watson, known as Cathleen, passed away, April 16, 2020. She was born in Georgia but lived most of her life in New York.
She was predeceased by her husband, Lyle R. Watson; a son, Joe and a daughter, Valerie.
Survived by her five children, Renee, Jacqueline, Lyle, Joseph James and Candice; two sisters, Elouise Smith and Tennie Natale; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Cathleen was a caring, passionate woman who loved helping people. She spent most of her life working as a nurse, for more than 40 years, retiring from the VA Hospital, where she was celebrated with several awards and honors for the outstanding work she performed.
A strong woman of God who would help anyone that needed it. Her smile would make you smile and feel the joy she carried in her heart. A special person created and molded by God and is now home. We will all miss her.
Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery at a later date.
