Catherine Rose Felicia "Katie" Sherbourne, 72, of Syracuse passed away in a place she loved, Saturday. Born in Syracuse to Salvatore Felicia and Nellie Russell, she was a life long member of St. Lucy's Parish. She retired from Syracuse China. Katie was dedicated to her family and enjoyed spending time with them, The Turning Stone Casino and weekends at Brennan Beach. She is predeceased by her husband, John Sherbourne and two brothers, Philip and Joseph Felicia.
She is survived by her children; Terry (Margie) Sherbourne, John (Katherine) Sherbourne, Brenda (Jay) Schiltz, Patty (Phil) Butera, Cheryle Sherbourne, Jackalyn (Nick) Scheel, Catherine (Cosmo) Fuoco, Valorie (Bill) Ruckyj, her siblings; Anne Killian, Carolyne Romano, Betty Jane Wischoff, Ralph (Kay) Felicia, Pauline (Doug) Mules, sister-in-laws; Betty (John) Sica, Ruth Felicia, her long time companion; Peter Alexander, 15 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Wednesday, 9 AM at St. Lucy's Church, Syracuse. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, from 4-7 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse.
