Catherine E. Leddy
April 1, 1917 — August 22, 2016
Catherine E. Leddy, 99, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 21st. Born in Syracuse, New York to the late Thomas and Mary Patsos.
She retired from Carrier Corp after 20 years as a Security Guard.
Catherine was proud of her Greek Heritage and enjoyed her travels to Greece, Europe, and throughout the U.S. Her interests were gardening, BINGO and was an excellent seamstress.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Ralph in 1985; her brother, Francis, and a son-in-law, Tom Miller.
Catherine lived life to the fullest and loved her family dearly.
Surviving are her daughters; Patricia (Jim) Paulini, Sue Miller; grandson, Brian (Nicole Kalnicki) Blair; two nieces and one nephew.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Cicero. Her Catholic faith sustained her in the challenges she faced throughout her life.
A mass of Christian burial will take place at Sacred Heart Church, Cicero on Wednesday 11AM and she will be laid to rest at Assumption Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Wednesday 9-10:30AM at New Comer Funeral Home in N. Syracuse.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital, 750 East Adams Street Syracuse, NY 13210.
