October 26, 1961 — October 28, 2018
Catherine T. Austin, 57, of Liverpool, passed away on Sunday surrounded by her family after a courageous fight with breast cancer. Catherine was born in New Brunswick, NJ.
She loved cooking and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed listening to her record collection. Catherine worked many years as a dishwasher at Frank's Plank Road Café. She will be remembered for her great sense of humor and kindness to others.
Catherine was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Johnny.
She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Robert A. Austin; children, Robert E. Austin, Michael Austin, Margaret Austin and William Austin; grandchildren, Chase and Noah; sister, Lori Gapski; niece, Michelle (Chad) Myers and several grand nieces and one grand nephew on the way.
Visitation will be Monday 3-4pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse with a service to follow at 4pm.
