Casandra M. Ungaro

Casandra M. "Casey" Ungaro, 34, of Syracuse, passed away unexpectedly on July 3rd. Casey was the founder and inspiration behind Toasted. She loved basketball. The most important part of Casey's life was her family and friends, most of all her son, King Louis III.

Casey was predeceased by her father, Louis A. Ungaro II; maternal grandfather, George Fischer; maternal grandmother, Linda M. Stuhler and paternal grandmother, Dawn M. Herlowski.

She is survived by her son, Louis A. Ungaro III; mother, Joyce M. (Scott) Murray; brother, Jason (Kim) Ungaro; sister, Sara (Jeff) Ungaro; paternal grandfather, John (Bev) Ungaro; companion, Eva; special friend, Sara Mickle; puppies, Lucia and Cheech and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, July 10th 10am-12pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse with a service to follow at 12pm. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to her mother, Joyce for expenses and for her son, Louis.
