On May 23rd, 2024, Carolyn Jean Witaszek fell asleep in death at the age of 68. She was born on September 17, 1955, a lifelong resident of the Syracuse/N. Syracuse area.
She is survived by her husband of over 50 years, Mike Witaszek and a "son", Mike (Stephanie) Witaszek.
She was predeceased by her parents, Jake and Edith Strodel.
Carolyn was a beautiful, kind and caring person and was greatly loved by others. She will be sorely missed as she was one who gave of herself despite health issues in her later life.
As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, she showed her love for people by faithfully sharing the "Good News of God's Kingdom, as a "Pioneer" in her younger years and in recent years by writing letters, often with the "Friends". She shared the Bible's message whenever she had the opportunity.
Carolyn loved animals, especially her "girls", two rescue dogs, Bella and Rosie. She also loved her birdies, three parakeets and one finch. Carolyn loved caring for her many house plants over the years.
Above all, she loved her God and her husband. His hugs and their time together meant a lot to her. Soon, our loving God with Carolyn in his memory will resurrect her onto an earthwide Paradise, free of pain and where she looked forward to riding her horses once again. (PS 37:10,11,29) and (Rev 21:1-4)
There will be no services, just good memories of a friend, companion and a wonderful wife.
