Carolyn Tricase, 79, of Cicero, formerly of Massena, passed away Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital. She left this world with the same level of class, dignity and sense of humor that defined her life. For all of her life she taught us how to live and in the end she taught us how to die.
She is survived by her devoted husband of almost 60 years, Dominic Tricase, a son; Vincent (Maureen) Tricase, two daughters; Cynthia (Ingie) Plumpton and Julie (Mike) Burgwin and eight grandchildren; Jason, Denyea, Elizabeth, Andrea, Dominic, Christopher, Natalie and Michelle. A better wife, mother, grandmother and mother-in-law you will not find.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Massena.
Contributions in her name may be made to Hospice of Central New York.
