Carolyn F. Nichols

Carolyn F Nichols, 88 of Syracuse, passed away March 12, 2025 to be in the loving arms of her Savior. Carolyn was born in Oswego, New York on July 18, 1936 to Robert and Laura Sivers.

Carolyn retired from SUNY Oswego Auxiliary Services. She enjoyed playing cards, gardening, knitting and spending time with her family and friends. Carolyn had a special bond with her granddaughter, Brittany Grant.

She was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband, Robert Nichols, sister Laurel Helvie, her children, Brian Steele, Kenny Steele, Victoria (Vicky) Steele-Rivers and Dennis Steele.

She is survived by her son, Arthur (Jacquelyn) McLaughlin; grandchildren, Brandon McLaughlin, Brittany (Zachary) Grant and Faith Fox; her great grandson, Cameron Grant; brother, Richard Sivers; several nieces and nephews and her daughter-in-law, Betsy Weber.
