Carolyn Kathleen Kolb, 61, of Liverpool, passed away on the Winter Solstice, December 21, 2021.
Carolyn was born in Syracuse, New York on January 21, 1960 to the late Robert and Joan Kolb. She was an avid reader who frequented and supported all local libraries. She loved nature, taking her sister Connie for walks on Lake Ontario, and visiting the Manlius Swan Pond. Carolyn dedicated her life to the care of the developmentally disabled and those with psychiatric needs. She was a loving aunt and positive influence to her two nephews, Robbie and Bryan. She was a fantastic dog sitter and loved all family celebrations and holiday get togethers. Carolyn was a kind and caring person who always looked for the positive in life and people.
She is survived by her brother, Robert (Adriana) Kolb Jr.; two sisters, Constance Kolb, and Kathryn (Royce McManus) Kolb; nephews, Robert T. Kolb and Bryan Kolb; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 10:00AM at Assumption Church, 812 N Salina St, Syracuse, NY 13208, followed by a blessing at the graveside in St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt.
