Carol J. Peters, 72, of Chittenango, passed away on Tuesday at home with her family by her side. She was born August 23, 1939 in Syracuse a daughter of Jack and Doris Burdo. Carol was an avid bingo player and loved her scratch off tickets.
Surviving are her children; Leonard (Diane) Meeks, David (Colleen) Meeks, Paul (Robin) Meeks, Dawn Meeks (Tim Roberts), Martin Meeks, Brad Meeks, William, Jr., Michael, Joanne and Charlene Peters, 16 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, brothers, Jay (Norma) Burdo, Gary (DeeDee) Burdo, sisters, Sue (Jim) Nitzke , Denise (Bruce) Gardner, Theresa (Paul) Johnson, along with several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be on Friday from 4-7pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Services will be held on Saturday 10am at the funeral home. Burial in Greenlawn Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to Hospice of CNY.
