Carol Ruth Oakes, 79, of Jordan, passed away on Thursday surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Syracuse on May 2, 1940 daughter of John and Florence Williams.
Carol enjoyed her many trips to the casino with her sister Betty and her grandsons; Bob Jr. & Peter. She had many friends and had a heart of gold.
Carol is survived by her children, Mary Anne (Robert) Long, John (Kathy) Mannino Jr, Connie Munson, Michael (Dori) Mannino, Joseph (Lori) Mannino, Patrick Oakes, sister, Betty (Tony) Gullen, brother, James (Pauline) Williams, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and her beloved dog, Honey.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 4-6pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse.
